Summary: Families that wish to pursue the evaluation or screening process through Child Find, must create an account and submit their application in EnrollJeffco before they can be scheduled for a special education evaluation, hearing or vision screening, or evaluation for any other special education services.

To Create an Account:
All new families will need to create an account in Enroll Jeffco to register their child for Child Find.
Go to EnrollJeffco.org and enter your email.
If there is no match in the system, you will be prompted to create an account. You will be asked to enter your first name, last name, email and phone number.
Once completed, you will receive an email with a link to set up your password. Passwords must contain 8 characters and at least one letter and one number.
Using your email address and newly created password, you may then log into EnrollJeffco.org to complete your Family Profile.
*The entered address should be the student’s primary address of residence. Families will be asked to provide proof of residency. If you live outside of Jefferson County, you may be referred back to your home district for the evaluation or screening process.
You will be asked to validate your address so that you see the correct neighborhood schools & Jeffco programs.
*If you need to update your address, phone number etc. after initial account creation, you will need to click “Update Family Profile.”
Adding Student(s):
Click “Add Student”
Enter your child’s First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Gender. Click “Submit.”
Applying to Child Find:

Once your child has been added, click the “Apply Now” button for the proper enrollment year to apply to Child Find.
Select "The Current School Year"
Select "I am interested in Special Education Screening or Evaluation for (Student Name)." Click "Next"
You will be asked to confirm that your family and student information is accurate.
10. Enter your phone number, and choose your method of contact.
11. Select your student's grade level.
Note: If your student is under the age of 3, select "INF" for the grade level.
12. Select "Not Applying for Dual Language" on the Dual language question
13. Answer the expulsion question, and click the "Next" button
14. Select the box next to either "Child Find Screening & Evaluation" or "Private School/Home School Special Education Screening". Only one will be displayed on this page depending on your students age.
15. Answer additional questions.
16. Initial the Terms & Conditions before submitting your application.
17. Once submitted, you will see a Success message within Enroll Jeffco and receive an email confirmation.
Once completed, the Child Find team will contact you in order to schedule a screening/evaluation for your child. If you have any questions or need assistance applying for Child Find , please call: 303-982-7247.
Note: Before the screening/evaluation, you will need to complete your household registration. This is sent to you via email upon review of your EnrollJeffco Application.
